For this post, I think I am going to keep it simple and just say that Zach Bryan is one of the most impressive new artists I’ve heard this year. I am not sure what genre he’d fit into, but maybe that’s one of the reasons he’s so good. His music has definite country and folk influences, but I don’t think I’d place him solely in either category.
The music overall is pretty simple. Most of his songs are recorded with just him and his guitar, but the tone of Zach’s voice along with the lyrics themselves, add a depth to the music that’s pretty incredible.
What’s even more amazing is the fact that Bryan essentially came of nowhere. He released his first full length album, DeAnn, a little over a year ago and has been on a meteoric rise ever since.
